This is a beautiful nature preserve! You can find plenty of wildlife to watch or photograph, including a variety of birds and crabs. The scenery is also beautiful
The beach is less than half a mile walk, but enough where it stays quiet. Even on a busy weekend, there are not many people around. Parking is harder to come by, because there is no parking lot. Instead, you'll have to park on the street.
Amazing beach. It's not very busy because you have to walk a little less than half a mile from parking on the street to get there. Natural looking beach, not touristy looking. Seaweed and other sea life washes up and stays there until the tide takes it back out.
It's a nice clean little beach.
I brought my dog out here for the last day until fall, and I can't wait to bring him back. Lots of fun
What a beautiful place that’s hidden easily from the sights of the city. The preserve was filled with molts of horseshoe crab and hermit crabs along the shore. There weren’t very many people which made the experience a whole lot better, lol. Try walking all the way to the sand bar during low tide, definitely a lot to see!
Beautiful beach with long empty stretches
What a clean, tranquil, beautiful place! It’s almost like a secret gem! Somewhat hidden along the street of residential houses, this is a nature lovers treat. Dog friendly, loaded with sea glass, a large variety of sea birds and beautiful shells (you can even find whole conch shells)! This beach doesn’t disappoint. Free admission 😁 …
Beautiful preserve! Simplistic and peaceful. Nice gravel path or a walk through the actual address. Listen to the bullfrogs and watch the birds. Beautiful beach at the end. Nothing fancy. Gentle waves and very clean.
My first time visiting and it was definitely a place I'll go back to. There are definitely dog landmines on the path in. Bring some bags if you bring your dogs. The stumps in the water line are really cool. I probably wouldn't swim there because of the potential hazards but careful wading is probably ok. This is better for walking in fall or winter as I'll assume the inland water is full of mosquitoes and biting flies in the summer.
